Our Music Ministry exists to bring honor and praise to God through music. We have two Sunday morning worship services:
- 10:45 a.m. - Contemporary Worship, with a worship band, featuring some of the best of modern Christian music / Bible Study for all ages.
The pastor preaches the same message in both services. Following is a description of the music groups in our church. We have music groups for all ages. Contact Dan Stephens for more information.
Praise Team
An auditioned ensemble of vocalists and band members who lead in the 10:45 a.m. contemporary service. Style for this service reflects contemporary music trends with an emphasis on modern worship songs. They rehearse on Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m.
Sanctuary Choir
For people with all levels of musical ability. They sing anthems featuring a variety of musical styles. Membership is open to anyone who enjoys singing. In addition to singing in the 9:15 a.m. traditional service, they participate in major productions, including Christmas and Easter musicals. They Rehearse on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Orchestra
This ensemble consists of traditional band and orchestra instruments, such as brass and woodwinds, as well as rhythm instruments. This group plays on the congregational music and with the choir on their anthems. They rehearse with the choir on Wednesdays.
Handbells
Our handbells group, known as "Bells of Praise," rehearses every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, at 7:00 p.m. They perform occasionally for the 9:15 a.m. traditional worship service.
Men's Choir
The Men's Choir performs occasionally for the 9:15 a.m. traditional worship service. They are directed by David McCall, and sing a variety of music styles. Contact David for rehearsal times.
Ukeladies
This Ukelele group performs at various places, including nursing homes and assisted living facilities. They are directed by Betty Scull. Contact Betty for rehearsal times.
